Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2008

 Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week S / S 2008 is underway! Of course it's one of my favorite shows that takes place due to the budding designers, colors and psychedelic hippie environment in general. After all, the hippies were heavily influenced by Eastern designs and color in the last 60 years, a trend that resurfaced in the coming seasons. Rockstars and actors such as Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Mia Farrow, Mick Jagger and Talitha Getty, were established in places like India and Morocco in search of inspiration, orgies, and spiritual awakening. They returned with flowing caftans, dresses embroideded and probably a few hangovers!

I love the colors, use the Indian designers, are certainly not afraid of bold palettes. Here are a few favorite shows. To see a complete list of designers click here. I will leave the show at the end of Part 2, of which I am impatiently waiting, because the line of Manish Arora is the grand finale!
